Highlight the Windows of Your Soul Gorgeous Permanent Eyeliner

Do you want your eyes to “Pop”? Eyes are where we glow from. They are the windows of your soul. Would you like your eyes to look brighter, more alive and alluring without the fuss of makeup? If so, here is some helpful information to help you decided if this is right for you.

How long does last? Most eyeliner tattoos will last between one to three years. However the pigment will eventually fade. A touch up is recommended after 12 months. Each person’s skin will express the pigment differently. Many things including medications, skin type, age and health can determine the rate of fading.

Permanent eyeliner application is considered a virtually painless procedure with almost no adverse effects if it is done by one of our expert practitioners at Enhanced Beauty Ink, Inc. We put a numbing agent on to make you as comfortable as possible. The most serious risk is an infection. Pathogens can be placed inadvertently into the eyelid, and from there they can infect the surrounding soft tissues, which is why this needs to be done by a skilled expert. Other risks include allergic reactions, light bruising and migration of the applied pigments.

Permanent eyeliner can make eyes look bigger, your lashes look fuller and darker at the roots. A very popular style is a subtle lash enhancement tattoo. Clients can choose top eyeliner, bottom eyeliner, or both! Occasionally people will experience swelling or redness for 24 to 48 hours.

As for the actual process of applying tattooed eyeliner, Enhanced Beauty Artists will clean the area with an eye-approved antibacterial and then apply a numbing cream to help reduce discomfort. Then micro-droplets of colored pigments are inserted between your lashes and under the skin with a special tool. The eyeliner may also appear slightly larger at first, but it will heal in just a few days. This is due to color oxidation as well as a small amount of swelling. It is a normal part of the healing process. You will have no trouble driving home and going about the rest of your day normally. We ask you to not wear contacts the day of service and bring your glasses.

What color eyeliner should an older woman wear? Swap your black eyeliner (especially for day) for brown, navy or plum. Sometimes black eyeliner can be harsh on mature eyes and draw attention to dark circles and lines around the eye. Explore muted tones for a softer look that compliments your eye or hair color. Our experts at Enhanced Beauty are happy to guide your decision. We look forward to helping you reach your beauty goals and join the “I woke up like this” club!
