Are you a candidate for microblading?

Most everyone is a good candidate, however, one common misconception about microblading is that it is only for individuals that have severe hair loss or no brows at all. Although these clients can benefit from the service immensely, anyone looking to add shape, depth and color will find great value in microblading. It’s also a great choice for those wanting to make a major transformation in their lives and feel better about their look, which in turn, makes them feel better about themselves.

Microblading, also known as micro needling or eyebrow embroidery, is a semi-permanent tattoo that creates hair-like strokes with the use of a manual pen containing very small needles. Since these needles implant pigment into the basal layer (bottom layer) of the epidermis, there are some contraindications that would prevent some clients from being a good candidate.

Microblading is not recommended for the following individuals:

  • High blood pressure or a heart condition.

  • Fear of needles

  • Blood-thinner medication such as aspirin.

  • Diabetes.

  • Pregnancy or lactation.

  • Glaucoma.

  • Herpes simplex.

  • Suffer from certain skin conditions e.g. rashes, blisters, psoriasis or eczema.
